vRing Lite on Android!!!

Finally vRing's awesomeness is now available on Android!!

vRing Lite on Android provides calling from Contacts, History and Favorites. Folks who make regular international calls will find this app very useful and time saving. Its just soooooo convenient to make  international calls from your cell phone using your existing Vonage account. No more remembering pins or entering 1-800 numbers for any calling cards or carrying voip devices anywhere. Just start this app from your Android home screen and call.

This app makes it so easy to call international numbers with just few taps. It is such a pain to remember and enter loooong international numbers. Instead you can just add the international number to your Android phone's contact list once and select that contact when dialing thru vRing Lite. Then simply rely on this app to do the magic of setting up call forwarding through Vonage and connect the call. 

vRing Lite also logs calls in history for reference and maintains a nice looking favorites list. Simply tap the contact from history or favorites list to place a call. Adding contacts to favorites is super easy with add button on  application bar. Press and hold the contact for the deleting a contact from favorites.Every call dialed through vRing Lite is logged in the app's history log. You can refer to this history of most recent calls and place a call directly by tapping on the history list entry. It also uses contacts image in the history, favorites list and displays it when placing the call. Its good to see who the call is being placed to.

vRing Lite features include:

Contacts - Call contacts from phone's contact list.

Favorites - Add/Delete contacts to Favorites list and call by tapping the contact.

History - Refer to list of recently dialed contacts through vRing Lite and call by tapping the contact.

Images - Uses contact image if available or standard image otherwise.

Encryption - Username and password is encrypted when saved.

vRing Pro Extensions update!

We have updated vRing Pro to work with Vonage extensions. If your mobile phone is a registered Vonage extension then all the goodness of vRing pro is most effectively usable. Mainly the security screen is no longer the pain point. The 'Tile' feature is a true single tap calling.

However this is only available when 'Extension' button is selected in vRing Pro and the mobile is registered with Vonage as an extension. If Vonage extension feature is not enabled or the mobile number is not registered as a Vonage extension then vRing Pro defaults to earlier behavior with the security screen.

Enable your mobile as a Vonage extension and enjoy vRing Pro at its best!!
